Update: The Parranda in Panama September Event is at Capacity

Wow…you are responsive. Our parranda coordinator Giulia Gonzalez tells me that she has received many RSVPs from those anxious to attend our expat get-together Thursday night. So many, in fact, that we have no more room for more attendees. We are at capacity for this event…

But…please plan to join us at our next Expat Party, which will be held in November. (We’re skipping October because we’ll be hosting the International Living Ultimate Event that month…at the Playa Bonita Resort and Spa.)

In November, our Expat Party theme will be the History of Panama, in honor of Panama’s Independence Day celebrations, which take place that month.

Special Note: If you plan to visit Panama in November, please note that many businesses will be closed for these holidays. The dates that most businesses will be closed include November 3 (Independence Day); November 4 (Flag Day); November 6 (Colon Day…which is actually on the 5th, but businesses will close the following Monday nationwide); November 10 (First Call for Independence from Spain); and November 28 (Anniversary of Independence from Spain). Some businesses may also be closed on November 2 for All Soul’s Day, but this is not an official holiday.

For those of you who will be joining us Thursday for our Expat Party, we’ll get started at 6:30 p.m. This will be a potluck of sorts, so bring some munchies to share and your beverage of choice. Our theme is Conversational Spanish…celebrating the wacky slang of Panama. We think this will be a lot of fun. I look forward to seeing many of you then. And those who can’t be here…we hope to see you at the Ultimate Event or at our November Expat Party.

Best Regards,

Brandon Clogston
