International Living Postcards–your daily escape
Wednesday, February 11, 2004

Dear International Living Reader,
Kathleen Peddicord
In the world’s top havens, you can, simply put, live better. That means less stress…more freedom…and a higher quality of life. And what’s more, in many places you can enjoy these benefits of "the good life" for significantly less than they’d cost you back home.
In Panama, Nicaragua, Mexico, Honduras, France, Italy, Spain, New Zealand, Thailand, Argentina, Ecuador… and beyond… you’ll be astounded at some of the excellent values you’ll find on both real estate and the cost of living.
Join us for International Living’s Live Overseas Conference 2004 in Delray Beach, Florida, March 14-17, and we’ll profile these destinations and others, places where you can:
* Hire full-time household help to cook and clean for less than $40 a week.
* Find a rustic farmhouse outside a picture-perfect medieval village for less than $60,000.
* Enjoy a gourmet meal for two, with wine and dessert, for $30.
* Own a lovely, two-bedroom beach condo less than 90 minutes from a First World city for less than $100,000…or a brand-new three-bedroom home with an ocean view for $50 per square foot.
* Rent a three-bedroom, three-bath house in a posh neighborhood for $650 a month.
* Buy a kilo of fresh fruit like mangos, oranges, and pears or a dozen eggs for $1.
Over four days of power-packed meetings, workshops, and special events with our expert panel of speakers, you’ll learn practical, how-to details about the cheapest countries on earth… the safest havens… the best places to protect your wealth… the surest ways to secure your privacy… the destinations that offer the highest quality of life… and more.
This gathering is the most comprehensive we’ve convened in the last decade. If you plan to attend just one International Living event this year, I encourage you to make it this one. You’ll come away with a personalized plan of action that takes advantage of the opportunities for living and investing overseas that make the most sense for you.
I look forward to meeting you in Delray Beach… and to helping you launch a whole new life.
For all the details, go to Live Overseas 2004.
Regards,

P.S. We’ll have a lot of fun, too. I personally look forward to these special Live Overseas events, for the opportunity they provide to meet and spend time with International Living readers, interesting people all. The highlight of our Live Overseas Conference in Newport Beach, California, last year was the afternoon fiesta we hosted. The group was entertained by traditional Panamanian dancers. We drank seco (a special Panamanian liqueur) and rum, and before the party was finished, many of our 140 attendees were on the dance floor with the professionals. Can’t wait to do it again!
