Speaking of second homes, I have just learned of a new term: multi-splitter. This refers to someone who has not just two homes but several that he or she spends time in. This is a growing phenomenon and one that we who work for IL understand very well. Especially when it comes to Latin America. There has never been a better time to look at this part of the world for real estate and lifestyle opportunities.
This month, we’re delighted to bring you our report on Uruguay, a country that we believe offers the best opportunities in the hemisphere right now. Our roving Latin America Editor, Lee Harrison, is there now scouting for his personal Uruguay home near the beach…but between trips, he was at home in Ecuador long enough to write our feature article this month.
