Go Ahead and Make That Call – No Risk of Cancer from Cell Phones

It happened soon after cellphones use boomed around the world…reports that you can get cancer from cell phones.

Now a study in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute says that brain cancer rates have not changed from the time before cell phones were introduced.

Further, the study says that there is no identified biological mechanism by which the electromagnetic fields emitted by cell phones could cause tumors.

This is good news for cell phone users in countries around the world where landline and cable telephone systems are too expensive to build and maintain. Cell phone systems can provide advanced telecommunications services to vast areas relatively cheaply and virtually overnight.

Many expats who travel and live abroad take advantage of the ready availability of inexpensive “pay as you go” cell phones for in-country communications as well as cell-based internet services that can provide internet connectivity where ever a cell phone signal is present.
