IL’s Weekly Wrap-up Video: Belize for Less Than $39,000…Explore Northern Nicaragua…Make Money in China…and Much More

See the video below where Dan Prescher reports from Medellin, Colombia, with a wrap up of International Living free daily postcards for the week ending August 6.

On Tuesday, Ronan McMahon revisits a project in Northern Belize that he first visited five years ago. At that time the developers talked about creating a new community beside Corozal’s lush, tropical bay. Now Ronan says that community is a reality, with residents, restaurant, new beaches, and home lots available, with financing, for less than $39,000. Ronan runs the numbers for you. By the way, attendees at the International Real Estate Investment Forum in Nevada in September will do even better. Nine lots have been ring fenced for attendees with special and exclusive terms.

On Wednesday, Beth Jensen says that with all the hoopla about Nicaragua’s beautiful southern coastal beaches, folks are missing out on Northern Nicaragua, a place that Beth says has just as much culture, activity, and affordability…not to mention a cooler mountain climate. Beth especially likes the area around the city of Esteli.

On Thursday, I write about finding what I think is the best of both worlds… jungle privacy and access to one of the most beautiful beaches on earth… smack in the middle of Mexico’s next tourism and real estate boom. It’s all happening on the southern end of Mexico’s Riviera Maya at Tulum, and the new airport there is changing the game in a big way. I’ll tell you how in my postcard.

Rob Marstrand compares the China he knew in 1998 with the China that today Rob calls the “mother of all mass markets” for food. Rob says that the opportunity to cash in on a particular sector of China’s food industry could mean 20% returns each year for the next 20 years. Find out what that sector is in Rob’s postcard.

You can read all these postcards and more for free, and don’t forget to visit the International Living Facebook page.
