Panama Video: Discover Boca Chica Now Before Everyone Else Does

Chiriqui is Panama’s western-most province. It’s well known as the location of two of Panama’s favorite expat destinations–Boquete and Volcan. But an easy drive from Chiriqui’s capital of David is a beautiful stretch of Pacific Coast, and along this coast is a spot called Boca Chica.

The village of Boca Chica itself is tiny, but the coastline spreads out into many bays, inlets, and islands where you can find boutique hotels, fishing camps and outfitters, small hidden harbors, and expats living a Robinson Crusoe-like life on scattered beaches.

The road from the Pan American Highway has recently been improved, which makes the drive to this coast from the airport at David an easy one… and as soon as word gets out, development along this coast could take off in a big way.
