Nancy Rifenbark runs a successful business with her family in Corozal, Belize

Like Nancy Rifenbark, who started out with little more than a dream of one day moving from Oregon and living and working with her family in a tropical paradise.

But she and her husband Scott, their daughter and their two sons, realized that dream faster than they imagined possible.

In a minute, you’ll hear Nancy’s voice as she tells of how she and Scott bought a business in the tranquil coastal town of Corozal—two weeks after they first arrived.

It was a bold move, but one which quickly began to pay off. Despite the fact that the former teacher’s aide lacked any business experience when she landed in Belize four years ago, Nancy and her husband quickly identified a niche just waiting to be filled.
