The good things in life come cheap in Quito.

I’m writing this on the second floor of an elegant café in the Ecuadorian capital, Quito. I often spend time working from here. The coffee is good, only $2 a cup, the wireless Internet connection is fast and free, and the views of La Carolina, one of the city’s largest parks, are inspiring.
