We loved the speakers. They were all approachable and glad to share their knowledge between sessions. We were already in the process of moving to Panama, and it worked out well that we could meet the attorney, Rainelda Mata-Kelly, right there to discuss our visa options! We were also glad to be able to arrange a tour of the sustainable teak plantation in Panama for this week with Mr Kroesen. How convenient! We didn’t have the opportunity to meet Jessica Ramesch, but valued what she shared in the conference. Also, meeting Rolando with Best Safety Boxes was very helpful.
We have read or been told about each of these speakers, but being able to see them all in one place was invaluable and comforting to make arrangements at the conference rather than struggle to do so upon arrival in Panama. We had already signed up for the conference when the announcement was made that there would be a conference in Panama in April. We may have made a different decision about which conference to attend had we already known. We flew to Panama on the same flight as John Curran and his wife. As we were exiting the plane, they said, “Welcome home!” It was such an emotional moment to share with fellow ex-pats!
