Last September we attended the “Fast Track to Overseas” conference in Vegas. We listened to as many of the speakers as possible and Keith Hockton’s talk on Penang really hit us between the eyes. He spoke to us after his presentation for quite some time and really put things in a different perspective. He opened our minds to another world of possibilities.

It was money well spent and for anyone considering adopting another country as a future home, I would definitely recommend a conference of this sort. You are able to meet and socialize with others that have intentions of an overseas move. You get information from experts who are happy to meet with you individually and answer the tough questions.

Overall the conference was excellent. We discovered much needed information. The whole affair was presented in a nice, organized manner. In addition, the coffee breaks were supreme, the coffee and snacks great.

All of your speakers were very clear and precise in their assessments of life in an adopted country. They shared their own individual experiences and those of others that they were acquainted with. The presentations left vivid images of happy people who had retired overseas.

We plan to build in Checa (Pakakuna Gardens), so we’ll have the “country quiet” but be close to vibrant Quito (which we fell in love with after spending almost 2-1/2 weeks there…walking to various neighborhoods and soaking it all in). What great people everywhere, tho.
