"Pulse on America" to feature Rancho Los Labradores in San Miguel de Allende

Date: 06/26/2006

Dear Mexico First Alert Reader,

We've just learned that one of our residential community neighbors here in San Miguel de Allende will be featured on PTGTV's innovative, educational Pulse on America television series.

Rancho Los Labradores will be featured in a segment "World's Best Second Home and Retirement Real Estate Investment Destinations." The segment will air nationally on the Travel Channel in the US and Canada, and regionally on CNN Headline News
through local cable providers.

Rancho Los Labradores is designed to be one of San Miguel de Allende's most elegant and innovative private, gated neighborhoods, with many outstanding elements. It is a different and unique concept that will feature three great ideas: an exclusive country club, a luxurious residential development supported by Stewart Title Guaranty Company and a convenient commercial area enriched by a very special cultural touch, a world-class Opera House.

Being built in just outside San Miguel de Allende in the State of Guanajuato, three hours north of Mexico City, almost in the geographic center of the country; all of this has been brought to reality by the Cházaro family, guided by Eric, Darío and Sergio Cházaro.

Old, colonial architecture combined with modern amenties…even a state-of-the-art Opera House.

The country club will offer not only typical amenities such as a tennis court, solar heated roofed and unroofed swimming pool, gym and fitness area, spacious green areas but also activities focused on cultivating the spirit and developing the hidden talents of every individual. As an example, the following activities are some of what will be offered: painting classes, sculpture workshops, reading circles, cinema appreciation, yoga, tai chi,
massage area, aroma therapy, batik painting, salsa and tango dance lessons among others.

With its typical Mexican cobblestone streets and wide "adoquín" sidewalks, Rancho Los Labradores re-creates an antique colonial space, while offering all of the advantages and comforts of the 21st century, such as a cybercoffee house, veterinary office, video/DVD rentals, a small bookstore, and a movie house with an outdoor amphitheatre for live presentations, music concerts and recitals.

Additionally, a new world-class Opera House will be constructed at Rancho Los Labradores. The developers of what will be the most state-of-the-art theater in Mexico are RWR Productions, led by Susan Weiss and Bruce Rossley. The Opera House theatre will seat 800 patrons and the outdoor Opera Plaza Theatre will seat 1200 patrons. RWR Productions is working with the best acoustical, technical and theater design company in the country, Teletec, Mexico.

The architectural style of the San Miguel Opera House is "Mexican Contemporary" and will be funded by individual contributors from Mexico, the United States and Canada.
The San Miguel Opera House will be the permanent home to the National Concert Opera Company of Mexico, which is also headed by Weiss and Rossley. The National Concert Opera Company will showcase the excellent world-class operatic talent of Mexico as well as collaborate with United States and Canadian opera companies such as the Santa Fe Opera, Opera Boston, the Connecticut Concert Opera Company and the Canadian Opera Company.
