Parranda in Panama: Join our September Expat Night Fun
Date: 09/13/2006¿Qué xopá? We're having another of our very popular Expat Night parties, and if you will be in Panama next week, we hope you will join us.
If you're in Panama City next Thursday, September 21…if you're just visiting or if you live here…please come. The party will be at our office in Casco Viejo, on the corner of Plaza Catedral - just across the street to the south from the Canal Museum. The address is Casa Remon #7-35 Calle Quinta. I have added a picture, left, so you will recognize our building.
Que cool. This month's theme will be "Conversational Panamanian Spanish." If you're a Panama Insider reader, you know what we're talking about. There are lots of words used in Panama that you won't hear anywhere else in Latin America. This will be lots of fun, believe me. Do you know what a goma is? You may, after this party.
As always, we'll be dishing out some tasty food and drinks. The fun and games will start at 6:30 p.m. This will be a potluck of sorts, so bring some munchies to share and your beverage of choice.
