Hot Opportunity in Panama's Most Popular Beach Community

If you've been following real estate news from Panama, you know Empresas Bern. On May 17, Empresas Bern launched the pre-sales phase of their latest high-rise project in Coronado, Panama's most mature and prestigious beach community on the Pacific Ocean. Coronado is just 50 minutes from Panama City, accessible by a modern four-lane highway. At the entrance to the community is a brand-new 24-hour El Rey supermarket. There are also medical services, restaurants, banks, hardware stores, a gas station…you name it.

Inside the Coronado community is a large equestrian club, a country club with a Tom Fazio-designed golf course, a beach club, church, synagogue, police and fire department, a private airport for small aircraft - everything you expect in a modern, mature community.

Essentially, all this is what makes Coronado stand apart from some other communities that are just getting started in Latin America. Started in the 1940s, Coronado already has all the service and amenities in place. You will find many private homes and condo complexes here, and the Bern Coronado Bay project will be the newest to be built directly on the beach on Los Pioneros Avenue.

A beachfront condo - with every amenity you could want - for less than $150,000

Here, the Bern team will build a 200-unit beachfront high-rise. Units will range in size, on average, from 1,350 square feet to 1,920 square feet. Every apartment will have a balcony, some you can convert into two bedrooms. There will be ten condos per floor -- two directly facing the ocean, six with side ocean views and two with partial ocean views and mountain views.

This project will be similar in style to Bern's Bayfront Tower and Grand Bay Tower projects in Panama City and will offer beachside and top-floor social areas.

There is an attractive payment schedule: 10% down now to hold your unit and sign the contract. Another 10% will be due in January 2007, and another 10% will be due in June 2007. The remaining 70% is due at the release of the occupancy permit.
