Vista del Mar: Hot Condos in Panama City

Dear Panama First Alert Reader,

The news doesn't get much hotter than this: Empresas Bern has released its new Vista del Mar project, located on Balboa Avenue. If you know Panama, you'll recognize this project's location as one of the best in the city. It's being erected on the site of what is currently the Empresas Bern sales office, across from the Miramar Intercontinental Hotel (also owned by Empresas Bern). If you have stayed at the Miramar Hotel or have visited any of Empresas Bern's other Panama projects, you know about the attention to detail and the quality construction techniques this group employs.

The 43-floor building will have magnificent views of the Bay of Panama on one side and of Panama City on the other. One-bedroom, one-and-a-half bath condos range in size from just less than 1,000 to 1,225 square feet. Condos start on the seventh floor, and prices start at $186,520, depending on the size, and go up in price $750 per floor. Social areas will be located on the two top floors and will include a Jacuzzi, sauna, swimming pool, exercise room, events room, and more.

On the first day of release, a Miami realtor reserved all of the oceanside condos. Fortunately, he didn't send in the deposit on all the units in time, so those condos have been re-released. Because of the great level of interest in this project, you'll need to act soon if you are interested. Empresas Bern's projects sell out quickly. There is an attractive payment schedule: 10% down now to hold your unit. Another 5% will be due in March 2007, and another 5% in March 2008. The balance of 80% will be due when the construction is completed and your condo is delivered. The expected delivery date is early 2009.
