It's hard to keep track of all the new condos going up in Panama City, but a few of them do stand out for one reason or another…excellent location, unique design, outstanding amenities, etc.

One new tower in particular is a winner in all these categories, and for a limited time, steep pre-construction discounts are being offered.

The Yacht Club is a 57-story, luxury lifestyle condo tower that will rise on Balboa Avenue, directly across from the existing Panama City Yacht Club on the Bay of Panama.

The Yacht Club tower is, in fact, shaped like a luxury yacht, with apartments fore and aft and several units amidship that actually go through the entire building - think of them as staterooms with terraces on both the starboard and port sides of the ship.

But enough nautical talk. These are, in fact, luxurious condominiums in a building designed to cater to every whim. They are turnkey, one- and two-bedroom units complete with top-of-the-line appliances, light fixtures, air conditioning, and high-end flooring, countertops and details. Concierge services, fitness center, pool…all go without saying. And the Yacht Club will have a business center with a full complement of the most modern audio-visual communications equipment for residents who may want to hold meetings or conduct business from the comfort of their own building.

Not only that, but residents will enjoy the availability of both a pleasure cruiser, the Explorer, and a fishing boat, the Escapade, dedicated specifically for their use and stationed at the nearby Panama City Yacht Club.

For water enthusiasts, it doesn't get much better than that.

Construction begins at the Yacht Club in January 2007 and is scheduled for completion in two years. Pre-construction sales started at the Yacht Club just a month ago, and nearly 50 of its 210 units are already sold. However, most of these reservations have been for either the largest (bow) apartments or the smallest (stern) apartments, and that's why I'm writing to you today.

There has been much less early demand for the B, C, and D units, which is remarkable because the B and C units are the ones I mentioned above that have terraces on both sides of the building. The Yacht Club tower is designed to sit at an angle on Balboa Avenue, which means these units will have unobstructed bay and city views. Not only that, but the sun will rise on one of your terraces, and set on the other!

The B condos are two-bedroom units with 1,960 square feet of space, and for the next three weeks are being offered at the pre-construction price of $432,000 and up.

The C condos are also two-bedroom units with 1,612 square feet of space, and can be reserved at the price of $379,000 and up for the next three weeks.

The D condos have only one terrace, but that terrace includes exposure for the living room and both bedrooms, and the building's alignment means that the view will include parts of the bay as well as the impressive, skyscraper-studded skyline of the Punta Paitilla area. These units have 1,412 square feet of space with a pre-construction price of just $294,00 and up for the next three weeks.

Make no mistake - these Yacht Club units are luxury all the way. This is a lifestyle development with all the trimmings, and considering the unique nature and location of the building, owning or having a rental unit here will be a mark of distinction in this market.

If that's your cup of tea, contact my colleague here in the International Living Panama office, Sarah Cox, for more information on the Yacht Club condo tower and to take advantage of these limited-time prices. Three weeks from now, these prices will be gone. And remember, bank financing is readily available in Panama.

Contact Sarah today and reserve your stateroom - and your new lifestyle - in this remarkable building before these prices are history.

Best Regards,
