Who We Are

International Living Publishing Ltd., Woodlock House, Carrick Road, Portlaw, Co. Waterford, Ireland.

Our agreement with you sets out what you can expect from us when you sign up to attend one of our conferences including our online events.

  1. Your Conference Reservation

Whether you book alone or as a couple, we will deal with the lead booking name in all subsequent correspondence, including changes, amendments, and cancellations. When you place your reservation, you will receive a “thank you” e-mail confirming receipt of your reservation request. Once your reservation is processed, we will send you confirmation by e-mail. You will also get periodic updates as the conference draws closer.

  1. The Price You Pay

All prices we advertise are accurate at the date published, and once you have booked and paid in full, we will not increase your price.

  1. If We Cancel Your Booking

We aim to provide the conference as booked. But if, for example, there are not enough people booked for the conference, we may have to cancel it. We reserve the right to cancel the conference in any circumstances.

If for any reason beyond International Living’s reasonable control (including but not limited to strikes; labor disputes; acts, regulations or orders of governmental authorities; civil disorder; disasters; pandemic; acts of terrorism: acts of war; acts of God; fires; flood or other emergency conditions; any delay in necessary and essential repairs of any accommodations, curtailment of transportation such that attendees cannot arrive at the Event, or other occurrence making it impossible or illegal for International Living to perform its obligations), such non-performance is excused and International Living terminates its obligation to perform without further liability of any nature.

Parties acknowledge and agree that if an Event is canceled by International Living, in their sole discretion, International Living shall not be responsible in any manner to customer for any loss, expense or additional costs that may be incurred by customer from booked lodging and travel. International Living strongly recommends the Customer purchase travel insurance to cover any potential losses due to a canceled Event. If applicable, the parties agree to negotiate in good faith to either rebook any Event cancelled due to a force majeure event or offer to Customer the option of attending an alternate Event. Deposits provided to International Living may be applied to the rebooked Event.

  1. If You Cancel Your Booking

If you want to cancel your booking, you must advise us in writing via our customer service portal. You may also leave a voice message, but it must be followed up with a written cancellation. If you cancel your booking, you will be entitled to a refund of the fee paid less any applicable cancellation charges, as per the individual conference cancellation policy. With each conference there is a cut off period whereby you will not receive a refund, instead you will receive a credit for a future conference. Please see the cancellation policy for International Living’s Events below.

We encourage attendees to network and enjoy the conference in a relaxed atmosphere. However, we ask that during sessions you do not disturb attendees by speaking loudly, using your cell phone, or making multiple trips in and out of the conference room. If we believe that you are affecting the enjoyment of others, we reserve the right to remove you from the conference.

  1. Conference Recordings

We may video record presentations and proceedings at our in-person conferences and online events during Zoom calls and make them available via our website or share them with the attendees.

By completing your reservation for this conference/online conference, you are agreeing to be included in these recordings.

Regarding online conferences, please note that if you turn on your camera, your image will be available to all attendees; what you will say will be included in the recording, and depending on how you set up your account, your details (e.g. name, email, etc.) may be available to other attendees, so please be mindful of your own privacy requirements (for instance, if you do not want to appear in the recording, do not turn your camera on, join the online conference with a pseudonym if you do not want your details to be apparent to the other attendees and included in the recording, use a virtual background if you do not want the attendees to see your surroundings etc).

You hereby grant International Living a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, modify, use for editorial or promotional purposes and/or sub-license all or any part of the contributions made by you to the content of the online conference (e.g. statements, voice, picture, and likeness ).
