Each month, we compile the most promising opportunities for RETA members in my Dream Home Digest.
Just last month, I sent my researcher Jason Holland to the historic city of Guanajuato. A colonial city in the heart of Mexico, Guanajuato is a designated UNESCO World Heritage site known for its beautiful examples of Spanish baroque architecture.
It’s a city with real European flavor and a distinct Latin edge. Taco stands next to church belltowers. Monuments in the plazas surrounded by mariachis ready to sell you a song in the evenings.
But most importantly for us, it’s a lively colonial city where real estate is still undervalued…
Jason found colorful homes with panoramic views of the city…spacious, multistorey buildings, with large rooftop terraces, private courtyards, wood beamed ceilings, and stucco exteriors…and properties with Airbnb or subletting potential.
