Jen Stevens

Jennifer Stevens is the Executive Editor of International Living. She's been a writer and editor at IL for more than 25 years and these days helps steer the ship in the direction of content for readers that's useful, inspiring, and designed to help them live better, more interesting, more international lives—without spending a fortune.

Jennifer has traveled extensively through 27 countries in Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, Asia, and Africa—writing about the best locales for overseas travel, retirement, and investment. She is also the author of IL’s Ultimate Travel Writer’s Program, which has launched the careers of hundreds of travel writers who, today, are getting paid to see the world. In past incarnations, she wrote marketing studies for the US Foreign Commercial Service in Paris and taught high school English on an East African island, where she served for two years as a Peace Corps Volunteer.
