In 2006, Janet Blaser moved to Mazatlán, Mexico, realizing her dream of tropical living. A lifelong writer and journalist, her work has appeared in numerous travel and expat publications, as well as newspapers and magazines in Santa Cruz, California. Her first book, “Why We Left: An Anthology of American Women Expats,” features essays from 27 women living happily in Mexico.
