International Living – Editor’s Choice Library Collection Giveaway

Sponsor
This giveaway is sponsored by International Living Publishing Ltd., an Ireland-organized company, with principal offices in the United States (“Sponsor”).
Eligibility
This giveaway is open to legal residents of countries where such promotions are permitted by law who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence and who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry.
Entrants must be able to read and understand these Official Giveaway Terms in English.
This giveaway is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Entrants are responsible for ensuring that participation in the giveaway is lawful in their jurisdiction of residence. Residents of New York, Florida, and Rhode Island are not eligible to win.
The following individuals are not eligible:
Employees, officers, directors, contractors, agents, and representatives of Sponsor or any of its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotional agencies;
Immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling) and household members of the above individuals.
Giveaway Period
This giveaway will take place in connection with the Where to Retire in 2026 Online Summit, scheduled for January 14, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time (the “Event”).
Sponsor’s computer systems shall be the official timekeeping device for the giveaway.
How to Enter
Primary Method of Entry (Event Attendance): To receive one (1) entry into the giveaway, an eligible individual must register for and attend the Where to Retire in 2026 Online Summit on January 14, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
Free Alternative Method of Entry (“AMOE”): As an alternative to attending the Event, an eligible individual may enter the giveaway by sending an email with the subject line “International Living Giveaway Entry” to shogan@internationalliving.com . The email must include the entrant’s full name, country of residence, and a valid email address.
All AMOE entries must be received no later than January 14, 2026 at 12:30 p.m. Eastern Time.
AMOE entries will be included in the same random drawing as entries received through Event attendance.
Entry Limit and Equal Dignity: Limit one (1) entry per person, regardless of method of entry. Entries submitted via the Free Alternative Method of Entry will receive equal dignity and will have the same odds of winning as entries submitted through Event attendance. Attendance at the Event is not required to enter or win

Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $227 USD.
The prize is non-transferable and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the stated prize becomes unavailable.
International Shipping and Prize Substitution If the winner resides outside the United States, Sponsor will use commercially reasonable efforts to ship the prize to the winner’s country of residence. Sponsor is not responsible for customs delays, import duties, value-added taxes (VAT), or other fees imposed by governmental authorities.
If shipment of the prize is impractical, prohibited, or commercially unreasonable in the winner’s jurisdiction, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute the prize with an item of comparable value.
Odds of Winning
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period.
Winner Selection and Notification
One (1) winner will be selected at random from among all eligible entries.
The winner may be announced during the Event and/or notified by email following the Event. The potential winner may be required to:
Confirm eligibility;
Provide a valid mailing address for prize delivery; and
Execute an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release, if requested.
If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within a reasonable time, is found to be ineligible, or declines the prize, Sponsor reserves the right to select an alternate winner.
Taxes
The winner is solely responsible for any and all taxes, duties, fees, or assessments imposed by any governmental authority in connection with receipt or use of the prize, including, without limitation, federal, state, local, or foreign taxes.
Publicity Release
By accepting the prize, the winner grants Sponsor the right, where lawful, to use the winner’s name, city and state of residence, likeness, voice, and prize information for promotional, advertising, and marketing purposes in any media, worldwide, without further compensation or notice.
General Conditions
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to:
Disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or violates these Official Terms;
Cancel, suspend, or modify the giveaway if fraud, technical failures, force majeure events, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the giveaway.
Any attempt to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the giveaway may be a violation of law and may result in disqualification and legal action.
Limitation of Liability and Release
By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to participation in the giveaway or acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize.
Sponsor is not responsible for:
Lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, or misdirected entries;
Technical malfunctions of any kind;
Any errors in the administration of the giveaway or announcement of the winner.
Privacy
Information collected in connection with the giveaway will be used in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy and for purposes of administering the giveaway.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
The giveaway and these Official Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any disputes arising out of or relating to the giveaway shall be resolved exclusively in state or federal courts located in Maryland, and entrants consent to such jurisdiction and venue.
