Best Beaches on Formentera Island
Formentera is the smallest island in the Baleares group, measuring only seven miles long by three miles wide. Formentera is a very popular destination with visitors because of its pristine beaches and clear waters. If you are going to Formentera, it is recommended that you rent a car once you arrive on the island since most activities do not have public transportation available.
There are many historical sites in Formentera, such as Talaiotic ruins, which date back from pre-historic times up until around 1100 A.D when an earthquake destroyed them. However, most people go to Formentera to enjoy the beautiful beach weather and beaches.
Playa de Ses Illetes
Ses Illetes Beach is Formentera's most famous beach, and it has previously been referred to as the "world's best beach" by The Guardian. This beautiful stretch of white-sand dunes along with crystal-clear waters make Ses Illetes a dream come true for many visitors who want nothing more than to enjoy an idyllic day on the water or relax under one of Formentera's palm trees. The best way to reach the beach is by walking from Formentera's main town La Mola since no public roads lead directly to Ses Illetes.
Ses Balandres Beach
If you're looking for a more secluded and peaceful destination, then head over to Formentera's second most famous beach Ses Balandres. This beautiful beach has natural shade provided by palm trees which offer an ideal location if you want nothing more than to enjoy nature at its finest while spending your day on the sand or in the water. The best thing about this beach is how untouched it remains; so many visitors who come here have unobstructed views of Formentera with almost nobody in sight, giving them all of that glorious white sand to themselves. Formentera is the perfect place for those who want a relaxing vacation in a destination that offers lots of activities and beautiful scenery.
Best Beaches on Ibiza Island
Ibiza is the third largest Balearic Island, and it has a rich history dating back to ancient times. For thousands of years, this Island was inhabited by Romans, Visigoths, Moors, and even Phoenicians before it finally became part of Spain in 1235 A.D under King James I during his conquest of Valencia.
Ibiza knows how to offer visitors plenty when it comes down to activities with its famous nightlife scene along with some true hidden gems like Es Vedra, which attracts many geologists from around the world due to its magnetic rocks that emit electric currents causing compasses on ships passing through these waters not work correctly. If you're looking for something more relaxing than one of Ibiza's beautiful beaches, you can visit Dalt Vila; a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and Balearic Islands’ historic center.
Ibiza has beautiful beaches both on its north side along Sant Antoni Bay and along its south coast at Playa d'en Bossa; these two locations offer very different experiences from each other, but both are great for sunbathing or swimming.

Sant Antoni Bay
Sant Antoni Bay is Ibiza's most famous bay, and it offers visitors lots of things to do. There are many bars, restaurants, cafes, and shops that line this picturesque area which makes the perfect place for spending a day relaxing while enjoying Ibiza's beautiful scenery along with some delicious food or drinks. Best Beaches on Palma de Majorca Island
Majorca is the largest Balearic Island, and it has a rich history dating back to ancient times. Majorca, or Mallorca as some people call it, was first occupied by an early Neolithic people known as Talaiotic who lived in caves around 3000 B.C. Later, Majorcan Greeks settled here after establishing trading posts throughout Spain. Their most crucial settlement was located along Punta Nati. You can find the old city walls remains that date from somewhere between 100 to 465 A.D.
In addition to its fantastic beaches, Majorca also offers visitors incredible landscapes such as Sa Dragonera Natural Park. This park covers part of Es Vedra mountain, making for a landscape full of contrasting and breathtaking views alongside secluded beaches.
Platja Gran Beach
