Have you ever wanted to stay somewhere that was larger than a hotel room with amenities and community compared to a vacation rental? Consider staying in a lifestyle hotel.

For my last week in Amsterdam, I stayed at a hybrid working and living space called Zoku. The property is designed with business travelers, remote workers, and digital nomads in mind. You can choose from a variety of different sized rooms and lofts to stay in, from bunk bed efficiencies to family-sized apartments. When you're ready for a drink, meal, or conversation, pop upstairs to the rooftop bar, restaurant, and social/co-working space, complete with meeting rooms, game rooms, and sweeping city views.

Zoku has locations in Amsterdam, Paris, and Vienna, but you can find many similar types of establishments around the world. Simply search online for "hybrid hotels," "lifestyle hotels," or "coliving spaces" in your destination and see what you find.

Hotel G in Singapore is one example, an "unorthodox mashup" that provides you a place to stay, play, dine, drink, and attend events. There's also a fitness center and other perks for guests, such as discounts at local restaurants.

U.S.-based Urby offers "a unique apartment rental experience" complete with culture and community. The company has locations in Texas, New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, with Miami and Washington D.C. coming soon.

Selina is another option - a global chain designed for digital nomads, business travelers, and travel enthusiasts. At Selina, you can find a place to stay, work, and connect with others in 25 countries worldwide.

You can also apply for membership at Soho House, which gives you access to a network of upscale "Houses" around the world equipped with gyms, restaurants, co-working, and social spaces in prime locations, such as Miami Beach and central London.

Where will you stay next? I hope this list gives you ideas for unique places you can live, work, and find community anywhere in the world.
